HX Series
HX ultrasonic cleaning equipment was specially designed to eliminate heavy contaminants on large industrial parts with the length up to 9m and with the maximum diameter up to 1,5m.
The most common application for this large ultrasonic cleaning unit is ultrasonic scale elimination from industrial heat exchangers. A heat exchanger is a system used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. Heat exchangers are used in both cooling and heating processes. During the heat transfer, some sediments can accumulate on the internal surface of the device. This accumulated dirt decreases the performance of heat exchanger and creates energy and performance lost, so regular maintenance and removal of scaling has to be done.
Traditional cleaning process is hydroblasting of heat exchanger tubes. This procedure consists of high pressure water jetting of heat exchanger which removes the sediments. Water jetting is time and cost demanding operation as it requires manpower to perform the cleaning and also creates huge amount of liquid residue which requires water treatment.

- Autonomous. The ultrasonic machine can operate in remote areas thanks to the optional cogeneration equipment.

Cleaning process
Preparation
The tank is filled with water and chemical (at a standard concentration of 5-15%) and heated to 60-90º.
Charging and immersion
The pieces are placed on the lifting platform (ACM models) or on the lower rack of the tank (ICM models), and submerged in the bath.
Automatic cleaning
This automatic cleaning process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the cleaning application.
Rinse and dry
Finally, the pieces are removed from the bath, rinsed with water, and dried.
